SBI Sitebuildit Review

How to making money from a web site

I recommend SBI Sitebuildit because it is a complete internet business tool kit. Also, it is specifically designed to help home based business owners who are hoping to build their first ever web site.

Most web sites fail to make money – and that includes many expensive 'professionally produced' web sites that look great. The reason is that creating a web site is just one part of a web based business, just like a shop is no good unless customers come through the door and make purchases or a magazine will fail unless people read it.

SBI does help you build a web site, even if you have never built one before. Much more importantly, however, it shows you how to build a financially successful web site. If you are new to the idea of making internet income, it can be a bit of a mystery to think about how a web site could make money, so let's take a look...

INTERNET INCOME STRATEGIES

It's useful to get an overview as it will give you a clearer idea of what you need to do to build an internet business. I recommend that you view this short internet income video (the video will open in a new window on your computer). Please click on the letter M in the top right hand corner to learn some of the different ways you can make money online.

THREE KEY INGREDIENTS

In fact, there are three key ingredients to making money from the Internet and SBI Sitebuildit covers them all:

  • Finding a good business idea (which could be your existing business
  • Building a niche web site with true money making potential
  • Attracting sufficient potential customers to your web site

Let's take a look at these in a bit more detail...

FINDING A GOOD BUSINESS IDEA

Just as with any traditional business, you need to find a gap in the market – a niche. There is no point, and very little likelihood of success, in creating a new web site on a highly competitive business topic - unless you have a lot of money to spend on advertising. The good news is that there are plenty of gaps in the market.

How do you spot these gaps? Step one is to think of some possible topics that interest you. This could be an existing business that you own, or it could simply be a hobby or interest. Let’s say that you have a topic in mind. You then need to:

  • Find out whether there is sufficient demand in this niche
  • Assess the level of competition
  • Get detailed information on what people are looking for
This market research stage is vital to success - and most people do not know how to find the information. Thankfully, SBI Sitebuildit provides powerful tools to help, as you can see from section 2 of the internet income video (when the video opens, click on number 2 at the top of the screen).

Once you have found an idea that appears to have good money making potential, you can start creating a web site focused on that idea.

BUILDING A MONEY MAKING WEB SITE

Over ten years ago, when I first wanted a web site, I hired someone to build it for me. I simply didn’t know where to start, and I really didn’t want the hassle of finding out how to do it myself. They did a good job, but it was quite expensive.

These days, it’s easy to create a good looking web site yourself, as there are quite a few different user friendly software programs to help. SBI Sitebuildit is just one of the options. However, what I like with Sitebuildit is that it provides everything in one package – domain names, web hosting, web site building, search engine submission and so on - as well as step by step 'how to' instructions.

SBI also provides excellent guidance on exactly how to make internet income. It recommends a CTPM strategy (select section 10 on the video). This strategy requires persistence and is certainly not a get rich quick scheme. However, building a genuine business of any sort does take time. Get rich quick schemes, in my view, are often scams or simply don’t work.

ATTRACTING POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS

Imagine that your web site is like a shop. Just as a shop must attract potential customers through the door, a web site has to attract visitors. When people search on search engines like Google, Yahoo or MSN, they need to be able to find your web site.

This is the biggest challenge for any web site owner - and many people pay substantial amounts to professional web masters for SEO search optimisation services. Again SBI shows you what you need to do. In fact, it goes further than 'showing you'. It carries out quite a bit of the work in background leaving you to focus on what you know best – your business.

THE DOWNSIDE OF SBI SITEBUILDIT

The CTPM strategy takes effort, persistence and time to pay off. If you are looking for a get rich quick internet business, SBI is not for you!

Also, although SBI Sitebuildit provides excllent guidance (including a very active community forum), there is a learning curve. The reason is that SBI attempts to give you all the tools you need to build a genuine internet business. Again, I would stress, most people have to be prepapred to work hard to make money from the Internet.

RECOMMENDATION

One of the main reasons I suggest you look at the internet income video is to gain a better understanding of all the ingredients needed to build a successful internet business. You may then decide that SBI Sitebuildit is the way to go, or you may choose a completely different set of tools. Either way, the video should add to your understanding of where you go from here.
