USA The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953. It is an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business. It also aims to help preserve free competitive enterprise and maintain and strengthen the overall economy of the USA. The SBA helps Americans start, build and grow small businesses. It delivers its services through an extensive network of field offices and partnerships with public and private organizations. It provides a wide range of information on government services, programs and regulations. It promotes innovation and entrepreneurship, and provides assistance through an organized network of service centres across Canada. These centres work with partners in many communities across their region, providing Canadians with numerous service access points. You can access information, guidance and support for your business needs and your online dealings with the UK government - including information to help home-based businesses.
